Emanuel is conveniently located a few blocks north of Hollywood (where Lake Shore Drive ends) on Sheridan Road at Thorndale. Turn right on Sheridan where Lake Shore Drive ends at Hollywood, continue 3 blocks north to Emanuel.

By public transportation:
CTA Sheridan Road busses #136, 147, and 151 stop at Thorndale in front of Emanuel.
The CTA Red Line stops at Thorndale, 2 blocks west of Emanuel. (From the station, turn left.)

Parking:
Emanuel has a large parking lot, and during the High Holy Days arranges for the use of additional nearby parking lots.
