Emanuel 2030: Building on 150 Years
Emanuel Congregation is advancing in the early stages of planning a potential on-site building project in partnership with Fern Hill. While no final plan has been approved, we are actively working through design concepts, zoning requirements, and community engagement as part of a thoughtful and structured process.
This effort is focused on ensuring Emanuel’s long-term sustainability while strengthening our role as a community anchor for generations to come.
On this page, you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions, information about our goals—including parking, traffic, accessibility, and neighborhood engagement—and ongoing updates as the process continues. We are committed to transparency, thoughtful planning, and regular communication with our congregation.
On February 26th, we gathered as a community for our latest Public Meeting to share updates, ask thoughtful questions, and continue shaping the path ahead together. We are grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to the conversation.
For those who were unable to join us — or for anyone who would like to revisit the details — the presentation slides are now available online for review. We remain committed to transparency and open communication, and we encourage all members to stay engaged as we move forward together.
