Our Monthly Share Shabbat Tradition!
2nd Friday of every month* | 6:00 pm Dinner followed by Services
Each month, our community gathers on the second Friday evening to celebrate Share Shabbat—a beloved tradition that brings us together through the joy of food, prayer, music, and connection. Share Shabbat is more than a meal; it’s a reflection of our values, a time to pause and welcome Shabbat surrounded by familiar faces and new friends. Whether you're joining us for the first time or are a longtime regular, you’ll find a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone has a seat at the table.
Our dinners are thoughtfully curated by Chef Mark Warnaar and his talented Share Shabbat Kitchen Team, who craft each menu with care, creativity, and seasonal inspiration. From comforting classics to regional specialties, every dish is prepared with intention to nourish both body and soul. As the evening unfolds, Cantor Shelly Drucker Friedman leads us in heartfelt services alongside Music Director Ruth Seidner and our joyful house ensemble, the Ham-It-Up Band. Share Shabbat has become a cornerstone of our community life—where stories are shared, friendships grow, and the spirit of Shabbat truly comes alive.

Our Services
At our Reform synagogue, we are a kehillah kedoshah—a sacred community—committed to honoring the divine spark in every individual. Our services are warm, inclusive, and grounded in tradition while embracing the evolving needs of modern Jewish life. We gather for tefilah (prayer), song, and reflection, creating space not only for spiritual connection but for celebrating the joys and milestones of our members. Whether it's a simcha like a baby naming, B'nai Mitzvah, or a personal or professional achievement, we lift up one another with pride and gratitude.
We believe in the power of presence—being there for our community in times of joy, need, and everything in between. Guided by the principle of Tikkun Olam—our sacred responsibility to repair the world—we engage deeply in acts of chesed (loving-kindness), justice, and support. Through every service, pastoral visit, and communal gathering, we strive to embody a Judaism that is responsive, compassionate, and rooted in the enduring values of our tradition.
